Roger is the Principal and Founder of RLCole Consulting & Coaching LLC. He is a licensed Organizational Psychologist with almost 30 years of consulting, coaching, assessment, training, and teaching experience.  Having served as an internal and external consultant, coach, and trainer for organizational, team, and individual development, he has a strong background in managing culture change, leading and facilitating teams, and individual and organization assessment.

Roger has helped organizations implement large-scale change initiatives including changes in mission and purpose, strategy, and culture.  He has worked across a variety of industries including financial services, transportation and logistics, energy and utilities, manufacturing, food and beverage, and healthcare. From 2006 to 2013, he focused on the financial services industry coaching and developing senior leadership and executive teams.  Throughout his career he has worked extensively with government agencies including NASA, U.S. Army, Department of Energy, and Tennessee Valley Authority.  He has provided executive coaching for executive management of Fortune 500 companies.

Before founding RLCole Consulting, Roger was a Vice President and Senior Consultant with Farr Associates, a prominent leadership and organization development firm.  While with Farr, he coached senior and executive leaders helping them achieve heightened levels of self-awareness, insight, and self-understanding.  His coaching style which includes direct, honest, and behavior-based feedback focused on identifying and addressing obstacles to building trusting and healthy relationships.  His supportive approach has guided leaders towards meaningful behavior change and improvements in their leadership effectiveness. He works especially well with those leaders seeking to gain deeper insights into their own personalities and motivations.

Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of consulting and management roles. While a consultant with Tennessee Associates International in the late ‘90’s, he lived in Thailand and led a project to develop a comprehensive leadership development system in a large Thai oil and gas organization.

He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Tennessee and a B.A. in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Roger completed Columbia University’s Advanced Program in Organizational Development and Human Resource Management.  He is certified in several psychological instruments (e.g., the Hogan Development Survey, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and various 360 degree surveys.)

Roger lives in North Carolina and enjoys travel and lake/water sport activities. He especially enjoys spending as much time as possible with his son, who is a CPA in Atlanta.
